A TV Star is born
I really don’t want to go through Molly’s cancer diagnosis, and as I said this is not a cancer only blog. It wasn’t fun, it was like watching a bad Lifetime channel movie. SO If you really wanna know how it all happened just watch the show! Confused? Here is the scoop:
It all started with a brilliant article (How long have I got left?) by a neurosurgeon about diagnosing himself with Lung Cancer. Our local NBC station interviewed him and when they found out he was taking a pill instead of chemo or radiation the producer Liza asked his oncologist who else could she interview, she referred Molly.
Molly’s Interview went viral. Story of a 39-year-old mom with two little girls battling and beating Lung Cancer touched a lot of people’s heart. Almost immediately we had people reaching out to us from all over the globe. The interview was watched by so many people that Liza and NBC decided to set up a website for people who wanted to monitor Molly’s progress. They have also been following us through out the year. Every scan is filmed, I have been interviewed, the girls have been filmed and when we went to the Lung Cancer foundation to hear a famous oncologist speak, they filmed us.
So you really wanna know how it all happened watch the show.
